Gentle Smoke of Tea

Henry Lam turned projection into his playground, reimagining tea ware’s craft through a fresh lens. Pulling from its roots—poetry, calligraphy, seals, painting—he spun these everyday pieces into something still, something deep.

The Drift
Wandering the Flagstaff House Museum of Tea Ware’s stories, he shaped a light sculpture that hums with the space. It’s tea tools and architecture tangled up—a soft glow where history meets now.

The Stillness
This isn’t just art. It’s tea’s past whispering through light, caught by our hands. We bend what’s been into what’s ahead, and it lingers.
